  1. Do I work directly with the organizer?

Yes and no.  You may leave the project in Lora’s hands or you may participate in the process.  More importantly, Lora will lead you through a set of questions about your day-to-day routine and your priorities so she can customize an organizing system that is right for you.

  1. Do I need to be home during the organizing appointment?

No.  Organizing by Lora’s hours are 7:30am – 5:30pm so if you can’t be there during the day, simply schedule an early appointment, give Lora a “tour” of the space you want organized that day, answer a few questions, and you’re off.  Your space will be neat and organized when you return home!  It may be advantageous to be available via phone or e-mail for any questions that arise.  Organizing by Lora is also bonded and insured.

  1. How long will it take to organize my home?

The number of spaces you have and the amount of detail you want will determine the time needed.  Please call Organizing by Lora to discuss your options.

  1. Do I buy products for the organizer to use?

Generally not.  Finding the best solution for your particular situation is what Lora does.  She has many tried and true products in stock but once the organizing begins, Lora will purchase products for your unique needs.  As mentioned on the price list, products are never market up above retail value, however there is a flat $20 shopping trip charge.

  1. How much do you charge?

  1. How do I pay the organizer?

Check (made out to Organizing by Lora) or cash.  Unfortunately, credit cards cannot be accepted at this time.  Weekly payment is due at the end of the appointment and an itemized invoice will be sent via e-mail.

  1. How do I schedule an appointment?

Call Lora at 214.704.5727 or e-mail at lora@organizingbylora.com.  You will receive 2-3 possible dates and can choose which fits your schedule the best.  Please note that when potential dates are given, those dates are still open to other clients and are all first come, first served.  Please also note the cancellation policy on the “Price List” page.

  1. If I leave a message, when should I expect to hear back from the organizer?

Expect to hear from Lora within 24 hours.

  1. How far in advance do I schedule an appointment?

An open appointment can be as close as the next day or as far in advance as 3 weeks.
